Institute for Arts & Therapy in Education CRM

We worked with IATE to support their transition from legacy systems that relied on paper, spreadsheets and FileMaker to a unified system built in Airtable.

Institute for Arts & Therapy in Education (IATE) was founded by Dr. Margot Sunderland and runs in a mixture of courses both online and offline at their premises in London.

Their requirements are reasonably complex offering courses in different formats and over very different time periods to students from all over the world. From taking online bookings and managing different types of fee payment plans to delivering courses using different trainers and venues, any system that they used would have to be flexible enough to accommodate many subtle variations and edge cases. Over time IATE's Head of Operations Tim Beeston had successfully negotiated this challenge but had concerns about the escalating costs and relative inflexibility of the solution they had in place.

We worked with Tim and the team at IATE to completely replace their operational database and systems with Airtable, our preferred CRM and database solution for small businesses. This included setting up workflows to manage their online webinars and digital marketing activities.
