Scam City Game

We worked with our friends at design agency Big Monocle to develop a mini game for the American Bankers Association aimed at raising awareness around bank fraud.

California based branding and design agency Big Monocle contacted us to se if we might help them develop a browser game for their client the American Bankers Association. They had recently launched a website called 'Banks Never Ask That' aimed at raising awareness around popular scams and how to avoid them.

We worked with Big Monocle to develop a concept for the game based on an endless runner where the player would have to consistently dodge scams as they progressed. The four most popular scams, email, telephone, sms and mail are represented as enemies in the game. At various stages of each playthrough helpful hints and tips are displayed about how to avoid these types of scams.

Browser games are a lot of fun and are a very effective way to engage your audience in an innovative and cost effective way. If you'd like to know more about creating your own let us know!
